Tasting notes: A boutique wine producer located on the north-west coast of Marmara sea, Barbare Wines took attention of wine lovers by producing first ( and still only ) Southern Rhône style red blends in Turkey. Dense dark red, it has small red fruits and toast accents. The palate is focused, well-knit and expressive, offering high-toned oak-fruit highlights with a layered quality.
Barbare Elegance flawlessly emulates the Châteauneuf-du-Pape style of wines and was produced with syrah, grenache and mouvèdre grapes along with a blend of premier cabernet sauvignon and merlot organic grapes cultivated at Barbare vineyards. The crisp and alluring wine was matured in French oak barrels for 18 months. The wine’s full body and aromas are remarkable and it has quite a long and elegant finish with licorice, black pepper, morello cherry and lavender aromas. The wine will impress you with its different flavors each year and can be aged for 12-15 years under suitable storage conditions.

Our deliveries are made by third party carriers. Some standard deliveries do not require a signature. If you are out, the delivery driver may be able to leave your order for you in accordance with the instructions that you gave us when you placed your order, for example, in a safe place or to a neighbouring address and if this is not possible, a card will be posted through your letterbox with instructions on how to arrange re-delivery. You should keep your delivery note and all packaging and should notify us immediately if any of the order is missing or damaged. If you do not receive your parcel you are required to notify non-delivery within 14 days in order for VinoTurco (EUR LTD) to action any investigation for missing or damaged stock.
